CBC Digital Products is the country’s biggest digital startup, taking on the challenges of innovating how media is made, sent and received. We are also part of Canada’s oldest and truest broadcasting company. We are trying new things. We are growing. As an entity of our own. As a voice for our country. As a team.
Digital is a part of our present and all of our future. CBC’s strategy is focused on becoming a digital-first organization that provides a digital platform for storytellers. Our mission is to engage our audience with stories they care about.
This isn’t your typical machine learning role. You are taking the best of data systems engineering, machine learning and software development, and applying it to interesting problems you wouldn’t normally get a chance to solve at a big enterprise or a startup.
As a Senior Software Developer - Machine Learning, you’ll be able to apply Machine Intelligence to products, where the expected outcome is how to value our audience, rather than to increase company revenue. At CBC Digital Products, we tackle the hard problems, apply the very best solutions and reevaluate those choices when new data presents itself.
Our Senior Software Developer - Machine Learning position will join our growing Machine Intelligence practice and be responsible for research, development and deployment of Machine Intelligence algorithms, uniquely catered to our various product offerings and content areas, and their success metrics.
If you're passionate about Canada and you love technology, learning and bringing out the best in others, you’ll love working at CBC.
