Created in 2015 to align, lighten and modernize infrastructure, Media Technology & Infrastructure Services (MTIS) is the backbone and the future forward arm of CBC/Radio-Canada. Reporting to the Director, Core Systems Architecture, we need a Storage Architect to plan, deploy and support CBC/Radio-Canada IT infrastructure. It’s an opportunity to help shape the way the corporation works internally and make a contribution towards our “Space for us all” strategic plan.
As a part of the enterprise infrastructure architecture team - working out of Montreal or Toronto - you will be mandated to design IT infrastructure systems, with a specific eye toward Storage infrastructure. Working in collaboration with the corporation different stakeholders, you will help translate the needs and requirements into a robust infrastructure plan.
Who are you and where are you now
You are a Storage Administrator or a Pre-Sales Engineer who wants to step up to an Architect role. You want to work closely with internal teams, making presentations and providing training. You want to design and develop innovative solutions, on a bigger scale, that span the country; the amount of data you will work with here is second only to the most prominent financial institutions and government bodies.
