CBC Digital Products is looking for an Agile Team Lead to join our team in Toronto for an 18-month contract with the possibility of extension.
At CBC Digital Products, we work in collaborative Agile Teams. The Agile Team Lead is an influencer, a champion and a coach. The ATL is dedicated to building healthy, high performing teams comprised of happy individuals striving to achieve their best and grow their skills.
We need an Agile Team Lead (Scrum Master) who understands there are different ways to work. Someone who shares our belief that with good leadership each team will discover what works best for them. We need someone who can act as a coach, a guide, a translator, a remover-of-obstacles, a facilitator-of-discussions and a mentor. We need an Agile Team Lead who empowers the team to do their best work in a way that fits them as a collective.
This is an opportunity for an Agile Team Lead who wants to cultivate an Agile mindset within a multidisciplinary team, with a special focus on helping the team thrive within a culture of trust, openness, respect and reliability. Who you are and where are you now?
You are working on an Agile team in an official or unofficial leadership capacity. You may operate under the title Scrum Master, but you prefer to think of yourself as a coach, not a commander. You are passionate about coaxing the best work from the team by empowering them with knowledge, methodologies and Agile principles. Your journey has been focused on Agile adoption, from working closely with resistant team members to transforming culture and ensuring full engagement and commitment.
