CBC Digital Products is the country’s biggest digital startup, taking on the challenges of innovating how media is made, sent and received. We are also part of Canada’s oldest and truest broadcasting company. We are trying new things. We are growing. As an entity of our own. As a voice for our country. As a team.
Digital is a part of our present and all of our future. CBC’s strategy is focused on becoming a digital-first organization that provides a digital platform for storytellers. Our mission is to engage our audience with stories they care about.
CBC/Radio-Canada’s Web Experience team oversees the user-facing components and code libraries that displays 2.5 million hours of content to millions of Canadians. We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join the team that is relied upon and interacts with every part of CBC/Radio-Canada.
This is an opportunity to be part of a new and innovative team that uses the latest technologies to evolve and improve the presentation layer and all user-facing components relevant to our content on cbc.ca. This product is being continuously refined and refactored to be versatile, reusable and stable with the goal of rolling it out to our audience in an ongoing and standardized way. We work with a diverse set of technologies, languages, frameworks; but to us, grasp-of-concept is what matters. Your unique skill-set will only enhance ours.
If you're passionate about Canada and you love technology, learning and bringing out the best in others, you’ll love working at CBC.
