CBC Listen is the latest digital service being launched by CBC. It combines Live radio, on demand audio, podcasts and music Playlists in a seamless free audience experience that reflects every aspect of Canadian life.
We are seeking an audiophile and strategic people leader to join as a vital member of the CBC Digital Leadership Team. This is a chance to take ownership for implementing a strategy aimed at growing digital audio audiences. With a focus on reach, engagement and retention as well as meeting or exceeding revenue objectives, the new Senior Director, CBC Listen will ensure CBC/Radio-Canada is recognized as an industry leading service in Canada.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Digital Strategy, we have a newly created position for a Senior Director, CBC Listen. The new Senior Director, CBC Listen will partner with the Executive Director of Radio and Audio and other key internal stakeholders to accelerate the growth of CBC's new unified digital audio service ensuring the offer continues to align with the values and content strategy of Radio and Audio.
