CBC Digital Products is the country’s biggest digital startup, taking on the challenges of innovating how media is made, sent and received. We are also part of Canada’s oldest and truest broadcasting company. We are trying new things. We are growing. As an entity of our own. As a voice for our country. As a team.
Digital is a part of our present and all of our future. CBC’s strategy is focused on becoming a digital-first organization that provides a digital platform for storytellers. Our mission is to engage our audience with stories they care about.
If you want to enter the world of digital media and be part of the change and growth of one of Canada’s long-established and respected broadcasters, this is your chance. CBC Digital Products is looking for a Senior QA Automation Developer to work with the Web Experience team.
This is an opportunity for a Senior QA Automation Developer who is ready to work autonomously and as part of a team; someone who wants to be a mentor to team members and help set the standards for Automation. This is a chance for a Senior QA Automation Developer who wants to be part of an Agile team that tackles the unique challenges presented by the diverse and expansive nature of our audience; and, expand their skills across the full SDLC including QA automation testing. This is a chance to verify and validate easily discoverable, engaging, and accessible online experiences across our digital offerings for sites such as CBC News, CBC Sports, Life, Arts, Comedy, and Radio. This can also include large scale events such as the Olympics and Federal Elections. Informed by our mission, our product strategy and our commitment is to be highly accountable to our audience.
This is a unique chance for a Senior QA Automation Developer, who wants to be part of building an engaging experience for over 18 million Canadians, growing the way they think about their software design; and learning from purposeful failure in a lean, Agile environment.
We welcome people who are strong collaborators and feel they can contribute in non-traditional ways. If you're passionate about Canada and you love technology, learning and bringing out the best in others, you’ll love working at CBC.
